5 Authors Bloggers are Recommending #Connect Five Friday

Apparently I can no longer come up with new ideas every week, so I have resorted to publishing Connect Five Friday every other week. Hopefully this will change soon.

Hi guys, welcome! This week’s Connect Five Friday Topic is 5 Authors Bloggers are Recommending. So as the name suggests, for this post I am going to talk about 5 authors that I am seeing a lot bloggers recommending. I follow a lot of bloggers so it is very difficult to keep track of who recommended which, so I won’t be mentioning which bloggers recommended each particular book.

Connect Five Friday is a feature/link up hosted by Book Date. For this feature you will have to make a list of five books or things connected to books. There is no set topic, so you can make a list of any bookish things.

Now without much further ado lets get to the list.

1) C.J Tudor

C.J Tudor is the author of The Chalk Man and her most recent novel is The Other People. I have never read a C.J Tudor book but a lot of bloggers speak very highly of her.

2) Kate Stewart

Kate Stewart is the author of The Underdogs Series. In recent weeks, her books have been getting mentioned all over the blogosphere and everyone is loving them. So I just can’t wait to get my hands on the first book The Guy on the Right.

3) K.A. Tucker

K.A. Tucker is the author of The Simple Wild series. Two books have till date being released in the series and the bloggers are continuously raving about how good her books are.

4) Erin Morgenstern

Erin Morgenstern is the author of The Night Circus, which everyone and I insist everyone has loved, because till date I am yet to find any blogger or booktuber who said he/she didn’t like it. Her recent release is The Starless Sea and it is also a hit among the bloggers.

5) Branden Sanderson, Christina Lauren and Stephen King

I made this list to include mostly newish authors, authors who have only 1-4 releases under their sleeves but I could not find the 5th new author so for my 5th ‘author’ I have decided to talk about four veteran authors (Christina Lauren are two people) who the bloggers keep on recommending.

Branden Sanderson is the author of Mistborn Trilogy, Elantris, etc and his recent release is the Skyward Series. The first book of the series, Skyward is being recommended by the bloggers left, right and centre, although some bloggers have mixed feelings about the second book Starsight.

Christina Lauren is the author duo, who wrote Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating, The Unhoneymooners, etc. They are also very well loved authors whose books the bloggers never stop recommending.

And lastly we have Stephen King, if you don’t know him then well….. you definitely have been living under the rock. He is the author of The Shining, The Stand, and most recently The Institute, which own the 2019 Goodreads Choice Award in horror category. Mostly all of his books are very well loved among the bloggers.

Which of these authors do you recommend?

  1. I do love a K. A. Tucker book and I have heard that the Christina Lauren duo is good. I don’t read thrillers much so Stephen King is off! I tend to agree about what will I do for Connect 5, it is a little more difficult than you think. I am flying by the seat of my pants a bit and on Thursday I am saying to myself what shall I do?

    1. Yeah so true every Thursday I also think what should I post for Connect Five Friday, some weeks I am struck with an idea, some weeks I don’t. But I seriously hope that the weeks I get an idea becomes more than the weeks I don’t get any idea.
