Hi guys, welcome! Hopefully all of you guys are safe and healthy. It has been some time since I last did a Top 5 Tuesday post and seriously I missed doing them but the problem was I was having a hard time finding the books to fill the prompts. Anyway, this time I was not only able fill but overfill the prompt;) Today’s Top 5 Tuesday prompt is Books by Authors P to t, that means in this post I am going to talk about books from my Read and TBR pile that are written by authors whose either first name or last name starts with letters P, Q, R, S, T.
Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme/feature hosted by Bionic Book Worm. For this feature you have to make a list of 5 books in response to a given prompt.
Authors: P.G Wodehouse and Paula Hawkins
If you are having a bad time then I think you should definitely pick up a P.G Wodehouse book. He writes humour and I have read two books written by him Hot Water and Right Ho, Jeeves and I really enjoyed both of them a lot. His books are incredibly funny and entertaining and also have a heartwarming touch near the end.
Do I even need to tell you who Paula Hawkins is? Okay I will tell you…. She is the author of one of my favourite mysteries The Girl on the Train. I absolutely loved this book and I can’t recommend it enough.
None. Sorry I could not find any book from my TBR or Read list with an author whose first name or last name (or middle name) begins with Q.
Authors: J.K Rowling
Finally J.K Rowling….. The Harry Potter series…. I can’t explain you my love for Harry Potter using just words. But I will try, I just FREAKING LOVE Harry Potter, I love the plot, I love the magic, I love the adventure and I love Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, whole Weasley family, Hagrid, etc, etc…..
Authors: Stephen King and S.J Watson
The first book I finished this year was Pet Sematary by Stephen King. I really really enjoyed it… It was horrifying and scary and totally entertaining.
Last month I read Before I Go to Sleep by S.J Watson and absolutely loved it. It was thrilling and full of suspense and it kept me at the edge of my seat throughout. And the end twist in this book…. oh my God! It BLEW MY MIND!
Author: Angie Thomas
Lastly for T I have Angie Thomas. I have not read The Hate U Give… Yes you have read that right I have yet to read The Hate U Give but I heard really great things about this book. She has also released the sequel On the Come Up which I have heard is another incredible story.
What authors do you recommend?
