Stacking the shelves

June Book Haul #Stacking The Shelves

Hi guys, welcome! I am here with my June Book Haul. From May, I had decided to do my monthly book haul along with my wrap up post only, but there were just so many books to show you this time that I decided, I will do a separate post.

*Clicking on the book title will take you to their Goodreads page.*

From Netgalley

I got a lot of books from Netgalley last month, including two of my most anticipated releases Beach Read and Cinderella is Dead. For some reason the publishers were really good to me in June, they approved almost all of my requests.

  1. Golden Poppies by Laila Ibrahim
  2. Interviewing the Dead by David Field
  3. The Black Kids by Christina Hammonds Reed
  4. The Crowns of Croswald by D.E. Night
  5. Three Fifths by John Vercher
  1. Why Did Hitler Hate the Jews? by Peter den Hertog
  2. Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron
  3. One in Three by Tess Stimson
  4. Sanctuary by Paola Mendoza & Abby Sher
  5. Beach Read by Emily Henry
  1. One To Watch by Kate Stayman-London
  2. Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia

For Blog Tours

Last month I signed up for four blog tours, and got selected for all of them! This is the first time I will be hosting blog tours on my blog, so, I am really really excited!!! Of the four blog tours I have already received the books for three of them.

  1. Star Daughter by Shevta Thakrar
  2. Kissing Daisy Parker by Michael Milton (Not yet on Goodreads)
  3. Under Your Skin by Rose McClelland

From Authors

I got two books directly from the authors last month.

  1. The Secret Letters by Taryn Leigh
  2. May Day by Josie Jaffrey

Gifted

My friend gave me Lord of the Flies by William Golding. She read this book last year and really really enjoyed it. So, I am really happy she decided to gift me this book. Hopefully I will enjoy this one as much as she did.

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews where people talk about the books they recently added to their shelves.

What books did you add to your shelf last month? Have you read any of the books mentioned above? If yes, then did you enjoy them?

  1. I am very excited to read Cinderella is Dead as well. It just sounds like it will be full of rebellion and a feminist twist on a well known fairy tale.

I absolutely LOVED Star Daughter, that book was so good. It was slow at times, but the world building was so lush and it was just so cultural. I almost DNFed because the pacing slowed but I was so glad I gave it a chance because I actually really loved it and I would have missed out on such a GEM of a book!

    1. Lord of the Flies is a dystopian type story. This book is like a classic for dystopian fans. I am actually not a big fan of dystopia, so I don’t really know if I will end up loving this book. But my friend really enjoyed it. So, if you are a dystopia fan I think you should definitely give this one a try.
